Dear friends,

A connection from my inbox came as a link: www.givemethemasterkey.com.  You may have already seen or heard of this site.  If not, check  it out.  Certainly gratitude is an appropriate emotion for this season of light.

I call it a season of light, despite the fact that we are in more darkness than any other time of year.  Paradoxically, I become more aware of light at this season: Christmas lights on trees and houses; Hanukkah candles; and the light within, as this is the best time for meditation and introspection.  It seems this year is more hectic and stressed than some; the astrology gives us the symbols in a grand cross.  Four “difficult” planets: Mars, Saturn, Jupiter and Neptune; are squaring each other.  Personally, I have been focusing on inner quiet, and sending love and peace to the planet on which we live and to all her creatures: human, animal, plant and ethereal.

In my snail mail, I received a candle from a friend.  Her family tradition is to light a candle for peace at 10 a.m. Pacific time on Christmas day.  As I light it, I will connect with my own inner Peace, and send it out to the world.  If you choose, please join my friend and I (and all the others to whom she is connected who celebrate this ritual with her).  Peace to you and your animal friends this season.

Last, though hardly least, I received an email from a fellow flower essence producer, Camilla, owner of Three Flowers Healing, an essence company on the Hood River:  “I have also heard that NW native people used Lomatium dissectum to combat flu's devastation in the early 1900s. I have made a flower essence from it that I think may offer assistance.”  You can email her at camilla@3flowershealing.com.

Thanks for being a part of my world!

Have a Blessed Season of Light!
Jackie
