Drums have been used in every time, place and culture. The drum is the heartbeat of the mother, and organizes our experience in a simple and direct manner.
Rattles are the shaman's tool for breaking up "stuck" energy and for shifting out of time and space. These simple ancient tools can be made in less than a day.
In tying the drums, we use a blend of ancient wisdom and modern materials, with hides and waxed linen over a maple hoop. This drum is durable and maintains its tone well even in a cold or damp climate.
Crystal Healing
Participants learn to work with the gentle healing essences of flowers and crystals, experience devas of individual flowers, and develop practical ways to use these essences at home for themselves, for family, for pets and for friends.
We address issues common to most of us as the basis for demos. We also touch on one method for connecting deeply with one's soul, as well as with nature and the beings of light.
These essences are born of spirit, work powerfully in gentle ways, and speak to the receptive side of all of us.

We all live in the world of nature. Yet do we know what is all around us? Begin to dip into the world of devas and nature spirits -- those beings whom we have called fairies, dwarves, elves and so on. We learn and explore a simple method for connecting profoundly with one's soul, as well as with nature and the beings of light. Specific applications will depend on the
needs of the participants.
Everyone has conflicts with others occasionally. Most of the time, we can resolve them and move on. Yet did you know you can actually improve your relationships through resolving the conflict as a win/win for everyone involved?
This is a fun class! You will learn new ways of communicating and problem solving. Everyone will practice these skills with others in the class, in everyday role play situations. Teens are welcome.
Throughout our lives we go through Sacred Passages. The "civilized" world seldom recognizes or honors the importance of these passages as necessary to the soul. From the perspective of the earth-based cultures, these ceremonies assist us in completing the tasks of moving through the doorways of life and death.
