Animals are teachers, and I have learned a great deal from them.  Thirty years ago, the cat who lived with me, Samantha, began to talk to me.  Soon after, I planned to move, and had a choice between two group houses.  I didn’t know how to choose, so I took Sam with me to each place.  In the first one, she sat down in the middle of the living room and howled.  I had never seen her exhibit such behavior, though the potential housemates did not believe me when I said so.  I could see it in their eyes.
Animal Communication and Healing
I was apprehensive heading toward the second house.  Sam and I came in, and there was a group of six people seated in a circle in the living room.  I put Sam down on the floor. She calmly began an investigation of the entire first floor (which would
be her new home). When she finished, she crawled up on a lap and purred. We moved in the next day.  Since then I have had the privilege of communicating with many animals -both companion animals and wild ones.  In the process of communicating, sometimes I have found one who is lost or assisted an animal to heal.

I also have supported animals in the process of dying: those who lived with me; those who lived in the wild; and those who lived with other humans. Often I have assisted their human companions in letting go.  Sometimes the communication has been joyful, sometimes full of grief. Many of these friends were so courageous and full of grace in their death that it still astonishes me. Others simply let go.  I can also communicate with animals after death - and can sometimes help with unanswered questions..
In working with a client, I either meet the animal, or I work with the person's connection to the animal and the animal's name, perhaps with the addition of a picture.  This work can be done by telephone.  Animals, like children, usually respond quickly to any healing - unless they have been traumatized.  When I work with rescued animals, I have found patience and gentleness are essential.  Animals also respond well to essences.  Some take them quite easily in oral form, some take them in water, and a very few resist completely.  One client's cat refused to drink his water when she put essences in it.  I also can have the devas and the nature spirits, with Pan's help, transmit essences energetically.

Our companion animals are so unconditionally loving - they bring a strong heart connection to all who are willing.  We humans observe and learn of unconditional love, loyalty, passion and grace.  What we can give in return is love and loyalty and generosity.
